ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Bill’s photographs are mostly Black and White. They are primarily in the context of the urban setting, the inner city, and the urban environments. Bill has been photographing since he was 13 years old. He is mostly self taught. Bill grew up in New York City and spent a lot of time photographing people and objects on the streets . His subjects are things that people overlook and pass by. He captures the moment and the spirit of the places he has traveled. He specializes in street photography and urban landscapes where man and nature meet.

Photography is his way of communicating and expressing his inner feelings and emotions. The images are the visual expression of his feelings. He chooses subjects and locations that give him a sense of peace and tranquility and solitude. Each setting reflects his mood.
